About the Opportunity Job Summary The Senior Enrollment
Counselor is the front-line admissions representative in the School
of Law's Office of Admissions. Customer service is an integral part
of the job, as this position is responsible for greeting visitors,
answering phones and e-mail, counseling prospective students
through the admission and financial aid process and admitted
students through the decision process, and interfacing with the law
school community. This position also plays an important role in the
planning and execution of on-campus events, and represents the law
school at select off-campus and on-campus events. The Senior
Enrollment Counselor also assists in our admitted student yield
programs, including frequent correspondence with admitted and
enrolled students. This position is responsible for managing
programs to involve current students in the recruitment process, as
well as developing and implementing programs. Working in this
hybrid role, the Senior Enrollment Counselor will report to the
Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. Qualifications Required
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required and Demonstrated
commitment to diversity and inclusion and a proven ability to work
with a diverse group of students, staff, and faculty Excellent
working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrate excellent
verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to
collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the
organization Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills,
exceptional organizational skills with the ability to organize time
and priorities, including multiple tasks and deadline pressures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong
customer service focus. Experience in (or willingness to learn)
website and web-based technology Demonstrated ability to handle
sensitive and confidential matters Must be self-directed, able to
make independent decisions Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of
work experience in a college/university setting or relevant field.
Working knowledge using PowerFAIDS Responsibilities &
Accountabilities Customer Service and Counseling (30%): Counsels
and advises prospective and current students on the admissions and
financial aid process over the phone, in person, and through
electronic communications such as e-mail, online chats, and instant
messaging. In order to counsel current and prospective students
regarding the financial aid process and awards, the Senior
Enrollment Counselor will be expected to learn and be proficient in
using PowerFaids software. Manages the campus visit experience for
all admissions-related visitors to the law school, while also
managing the front lines of the admissions office. This person, in
essence, is selling the law school through their attention to the
prospective and admitted students who contact the admissions
office. Develop and implement ideas for enhancing the
customer/prospective student experience. At all times the highest
level of customer service is expected for on and off-campus
programs, emails, telephone communications, and social media.
Develop and Implement Programming (15%): Responsible for developing
and executing a plan to include current students in the recruitment
and yield of prospective students. Manage programs including, tour
guides, campus visits, ambassadors, event volunteers, and the
alumni/faculty/student matching program. File Review (30%):
Thoroughly read and evaluate first year, transfer, and advanced
standing admissions applications. Apply discretion and sound
judgment in evaluating and comparing applicants. Recruitment/Events
(25%): Counsel and advise students through the admissions and
financial aid process. Represent the Law School at college fairs,
school visits, information sessions, and other recruitment events
while marketing the Law School effectively, positively, and
appropriately. During these events, the students and families
should be serviced promptly and professionally Develop
comprehensive recruitment and outreach plan, including registration
for events. This position plays a key role in admitted student
yield programs, such as Admitted Student Open House and reaching
out to admitted and deposited students. Documents to Submit: Please

Expected Hiring Range: $48,610.00 - $66,838.75 With the pay
range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several
factors, which may include your education, experience, location,
knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to
similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are
