Join our enrichment team and take the opportunity to work with youth through a social emotional learning lens. We are hiring staff for a variety of days at various schools in Brockton.Requirements:JOB FUNCTIONSPROGRAM/DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:Attend Staff meetings and trainings as scheduled by the Enrichment Services CoordinatorLead the enrichment activities for about youth in three different classrooms each day according to the quality requirements of the Old Colony Y and the prescribed curriculum that is planned each weekCollaborate with Teacher and the Para to ensure enrichment activities incorporate social emotional learning and are delivered with a trauma-informed lensSet up for and clean up after all enrichment activitiesEnsure children are never left alone in the classroom and there is always a YMCA or BPS staff member in the roomKnow at all times how many youth are in your groupIdentify and meet the individual needs of students (inclusion, accommodations)Ability to maintain daily attendance and scheduling flexibility to include coming in early and working late/nights for several Family Nights throughout the yearAbility to be flexible and adaptable to the constantly changing school scheduleMaintain positive energy with staff, youth and families throughout entire programAddress any concerns or conflicts with the Enrichment Services Coordinator.Maintain professional boundaries with youthCarry out the enrichment schedule provided by following time frames, location of activity, and activity descriptions carefully
