About the Opportunity About the Opportunity: The Accounting
Group of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern
University invites applications for an open non-tenure track
faculty position to be located at the Boston, Massachusetts Campus
of the university, with employment beginning in August 2026. This
is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with teaching, research,
and service responsibilities. Appointment will be made at the
Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor level, depending on

campus. Summary of Responsibilities: The successful candidate will
teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels in
accounting areas including financial, tax, audit or data analytics
and/or related subjects; participate in service to the Accounting
Group, D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University,
and the discipline; and develop an appropriate independent research
program necessary to achieve and maintain AACSB qualification as a
Scholarly Academic. The successful candidate will be able to teach
courses covering topics in financial accounting, tax, auditing, or
data analytics. Preference will be given to candidates who are
qualified to teach courses related to financial accounting, tax and
data analytics. Teaching Professor teaching in our undergraduate
and graduate programs (60%) research to maintain scholarly academic
status (20%) services to the Accounting group, DMSB and the
University (20%) Qualifications: Candidates for Teaching Professor
must have a doctorate in accounting or a closely related field by
the appointment start date. Candidates for appointment at ranks
above the entry-level must have at least 4 years of college
teaching and/or professional experience. Candidates must be
committed to excellence in teaching and research, and fostering an

Pay Range: Assistant Teaching Professor: $140,000.00 - $168,000.00
| Associate Teaching Professor: $153,000.00 - $183,000.00 With the
pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on
several factors, which may include your education, experience,
location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay
comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
