Job Description:

The Manufacturing Engineer's job summary will include identifying areas for improvement, project management, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, as well as ensuring optimization of equipment and conformance to regulatory standards.Responsibilities:Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendorsPrepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Assist the operations team with process and equipment troubleshootingWorks with all levels of the organization to identify and implement process improvements, find process interactions and dependencies.Optimize manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, facility layouts, and production lines.Support all safety and regulatory initiativesProvide training for staff with new and existing processesEnsure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulationsManage Greenfield and Brownfield projectsQualifications and Skills:Degree in engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical) BSAutoCAD Experience preferredExperience in the food industry or regulated industry a plus4-5 years managing projects4-5 years
experience in manufacturing engineeringEngineering packaging experience preferred3-5 years
experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machineryAbility to lead and work independentlyStrong analytical skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skills
