member of Takeda's Global Environment and Sustainability Team, you
will support the Climate Scope 1 and 2 emissions strategy to
support Takeda's net-zero commitments. In collaboration with the
Lead, Operational Environmental Sustainability, you will develop
and implement strategies to minimize our environmental footprint
and advance our net-zero ambition. You will report into the Global
Head of Environment and Sustainability. How you will contribute:
Support the development and execution of Takeda's Scope 1 and 2
emissions strategy to reach net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
related to operations by FY2035 Collaborate to implement strategies
for decarbonization including optimizing renewable energy across
Takeda's operations, partnering with sites and engineering teams to
drive demand reduction and energy efficiency, and ensuring
alignment with sustainability goals Engage teams to improve data
collection and analytics processes on site and Takeda
enterprise-wide performance to facilitate more mature data
management, forecasting and benchmarking Help with Takeda's
engagement within the voluntary carbon market (VCM), including the
management and tracking of carbon offsets, carbon removal projects
and other purchased Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) Track and
help communicate progress on key Scope 1 and 2 climate-related
goals and performance indicators Minimum
Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in scientific field
such as engineering, chemistry, environmental science/management,
sustainability, business (or equivalent experience). Master's
degree in a technical discipline 3 years of relevant engineering,
environmental sustainability, environmental management, supply
chain, or equivalent consulting experience. Expertise in energy
conservation measures, carbon accounting frameworks (e.g., GHG
Protocol, SBTi) and life cycle assessment methods/tools 1-3 years
in Biotechnology / pharmaceutical industrial operations Familiarity
with cGMP operations Proficiency in data collection, analytics, and
software tools for management environmental metrics and reporting
(e.g., Excel, Power BI, or specialized LCA/carbon accounting
software) Experience managing projects, delivering complex projects

Summary We understand compensation is an important factor as you

- 45-55 U.S. Base Salary Range: $111,800.00 - $175,670.00 The
estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this
position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of
factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant
for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique
skills, level of education attained, certifications or other
professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant
lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual
base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local
minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based
employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term
incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in
medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match,
short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance,
