Job Description: The IT Support Engineer will be an integral part of a customer support team, at customer sites at least 50% of the time. This position will be assigned specific client(s) in Brockton, Natick & surrounding areas, and will act as their dedicated technical systems administrator. The candidate will provide crucial customer support in diagnosing and resolving client and server issues via web/phone queries/in-person. This role will also provide Windows server and Active Directory administration and act as a technical liaison in regards to the recommendation of infrastructure improvements. This position will be responsible for the technical documentation of process and procedures for their client s organization. Key Responsibilities: -Ability to troubleshoot client & server issues -Perform system builds (desktop/laptop/servers) -Perform application installations and upgrades -Administer Windows based servers (File/Print/Mail/Web) for daily maintenance -Active Directory administration (DNS/DHCP/Group Policy/Account Management) -Manage system backups and perform data restores as required -Provide technical assessments and process documentation Technical Requirements: - 4+ years providing helpdesk, systems or other IT support including Windows Server experience -Understanding and general troubleshooting of Microsoft Office products & working knowledge of virtualization technologies -Experience with PC technologies (Windows 7, 8,10) and mobile devices is required -Basic understanding of network & other technology concepts such as Email, Servers, Firewalls, DNS -Basic understanding of monitoring of server and network appliances -Good understanding of printer technologies Other Requirements: -Preference for working in a collaborative, team environment -Ability to work independently -Passion to provide superior customer service -Excellent written and verbal communication skills Education: -College degree preferred -Certification Microsoft MCP/MCSA The benefits of working at ComputerSupport: You'll have the opportunity to work for a stable and growing company, with a fun, startup-like atmosphere, and the opportunity to grow your career quickly through experience and knowledge.
