We help people who are struggling with homelessness or are at risk of homelessness to achieve self-sufficiency. Father Bill's & MainSpring is a growing and dynamic social service agency with expertise in emergency and permanent housing, job training and placement, and prevention services for individuals and families in need. Over the next five years, our strategic focus includes an increase in affordable, permanent supportive housing, a more efficient model of care for families experiencing homelessness, commitment to an enhanced delivery model to reduce the need for shelter, and improved community relations to achieve these goals. Position Summary: The Clinical Manager will provide clinical supervision and support to the program services and operations of the entire agency. This will include a focus on providing clinical support to staff as they debrief critical incidents, training for program staff on de-escalation, crisis management, trauma informed care and other clinical topics. The Clinical Manager will also meet with program participants in shelter and housing, in order to help with the development a treatment plans, applications for services (DMH, DDS, Elder Services) and disability diagnosis. The Clinical Manager will need to be comfortable with working in a variety of program settings, including residential housing programs, family and individual congregate shelters, street outreach and hospital settings. This is a full time position reporting to the Triage Director. A flexible schedule is required to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. Master's Degree required with 4 years of clinical experience preferred. LICSW licensure preferred, LCSW required. Clinical supervision towards gaining your LICSW licensure hours can be provided by FBMS if needed. Minimum of five years' experience in human service organizations requiring experience in serving homeless, low-income and/or other vulnerable population. Essential Responsibilities: • Provide focused leadership, support and clinical supervision to the program team. • Be prepared to de-escalate crisis situations and support staff in de-briefing difficult situations. • Provide clinical supervision to the Ryan White Housing case management team and other staff as appropriate. • Oversee the collection of information needed to assess and develop the clinical interventions and individual service plans for guests in our programming. Assist in treatment plan development in collaboration with the person served. • Support program staff in the debrief and processing of critical and emergency incidents in programs including overdoses, participant deaths and escalated events. • Engage in clinical meetings with program participants to develop a disability diagnosis in support of housing applications, case management billing programs such as CSPECH, CSP and BSAS. • Demonstrate a proactive commitment to maintaining effective communication with staff and program participants to facilitate and promote effective program Director team and generate reports as necessary to maintain satisfactory compliance standards.• Ensure all paperwork, reports, trainings are up to date and completed within the expected timelines for the departments. • Establish and ensure that monitoring of recordkeeping is occurring within the programs. Maintain the privacy of all guest information in accordance with agency policies, procedures, and practices, as required by law, and in accordance with general principles of professionalism as a social service provider. • Track contract adherence and goals. Support the preparation of regular progress reports to ensure programs are meeting goals and objectives. Ensure that files are up to date and in compliance with all State and Federal contracts. Interface with funders, identifying and resolving any concerns. Ensure systems are in place for quality assurance by management team. • Maintain knowledge about area vendors and facilities related agencies. Maintain relationships with, and cooperate with, various community providers to access services for guests. Follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance. • Initiative: Seeks out new assignments and is willing to be flexible with additional duties. • Adherence to Policy: Follows safety and workplace expectations, regulations and processes as defined in the Employee Handbook. • Work Ethic: Demonstrates a commitment to the Mission and adheres to the Operating Principles of Father Bill's & MainSpring and works as part of a team toward a common goal. Other: • Safety & Security: Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. • Travel: Local travel may be required.
