For more information, visit https://www.jnjmedtech.com/en-US Job Description: The Manager, R Engagement Communication will develop and execute a wide range of strategic communication programs and activities in support of the goals and objectives for the JJMT R organization. This role will support the goals of the R Leadership Team, helping associates understand the business strategy, and drive engagement and alignment. In addition, the Manager will partner with franchise, region, and core communication teams to develop and execute both internal and external communications to elevate the company's innovation narrative. This individual will also be responsible for change communications around select initiatives, and partner closely with Human Resources to help continue to drive an innovative, inclusive, and winning culture. This role will report directly to the Director, MedTech Innovation and R Communication with a dotted line into the J MedTech Employee Engagement team. The Manager will be able to ensure strategy and content on all communication channels aligns with and supports the organizations' goals. This is achieved through the development and implementation of a proactive communication strategy, strong partnerships across the organization and maintenance of a communications calendar to guide messaging to the organization. Key Responsibilities: + Set strategy, test, and deliver new internal tools and ideas to engage the organization. + Develop and execute internal communication plan on behalf of the Leadership Team, such as townhalls, videos, podcasts, and global employee newsletters. + Create and implement change communication plans, when needed. + Translate complex company and R initiatives into digestible, short content that ties back to the business and J MedTech strategy and initiatives. + Build and lead networks of colleagues to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing and facilitate the adoption of common practices - such as brand champions or change agents. + Develop and support innovation initiatives, including but not limited to writing, editing, preparing videos and photography, developing story ideas to promote selected activities, and special event coordination. + Use CommTech tools and engagement strategies to manage editorial calendar, content creation, employee surveys, and foster collaboration. + Ensure that programs drive consistent messages to all audiences. + Measure and monitor the quality and impact of internal communications activity. + Manage budget, cross-functional, and PR agency teams to ensure flawless execution of projects. Qualifications Education: + Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required in communication, journalism, PR, public affairs, or closely related field Experience and Skills: Required: + A minimum of 5 years' experience in public relations, organizational communications, internal communications. + Strong writing experience for both print and web media, including in-depth knowledge of AP writing style. + Experience using social media and digital tools. + Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams. + Ability to successfully collaborate and build relationships with key business partners. + Excellent organization and project management skills. + Ability to work with minimal supervision in fast-paced and matrix environment. + Ability to oversee budget and agency partners. + Possesses strong strategic and critical thinking skills. Preferred: + Experience in a regulated industry preferred. + Familiarity with Photoshop and knowledge of web design tools a plus.
