CBRS was created to provide additional support to people as they work on their recovery within their communities. Often, clients who have been in an addiction treatment or Section 35 facility and are transitioning back into their communities' benefit from extra support.High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life.Clinical Director RequirementsMust present as courteous and professional at all timesDemonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasksMust have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashionKnowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPHAO s electronic medical recordsMust have the ability to work with others in cooperative and collaborative mannerAn understanding of the relationship between substance use and mental health issues and/or self-help programsAn understanding of boundaries and ethicsComply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA RegulationsTB screeningCertification in the HPHAO approved de-escalation programCPR CertificationClinical Director Duties and responsibilitiesAssist Program Director in developing and implementing goals and objectives for the programAssist Program Director in the implementation and review of policies and procedures on a regular basisEnsure that all activities are carried out in accordance with HPHAO's written plans for quality assurance, utilization review/management and staff growth and developmentProvide supervision to program staff and maintain supervisory notes and staff evaluationsProvide direct service to clients, which will include but not limited to evaluations of clients, individual, group and/or family counseling, crisis management, and aftercare planning. Amount of direct services to be determined by Program DirectorCoordinate with other departments/facilities to enhance and ensure quality careAssist Program Director in budget development and monthly review processRoutinely review client charts (open and closed) to ensure that the structure and substance are in accordance with licensing and accreditation standardsAdvertising, interviewing, hiring and training of new staffParticipate in RFR processes to maintain current programming and development of new programming as neededAbility to provide leadership and program development within a community- based regional programAbility to work with clients with substance use disorders, mental health disorders and co-occurring disordersMust present as professional and courteous at all times both internally and externallyKnowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practicesPreparation of reports and correspondence in response to licensing and accreditation boardsCollaborate and participate in meetings with other community organizations to enhance communication and service delivery within the communityOversee the REACH programOther duties as assigned by the Vice President of Community-Based Behavioral Health and/or Program DirectorClinical Director QualificationsMust have a master's degree in related field and licensureMust have a minimum of two years of clinical supervisory experience and three years of behavioral health counseling experienceRecovery Coach & Recovery Coach Supervisor trained
