Job Description:
Description:The Digital Banking and Cash Management Officer is
responsible for leading, administering, and supporting all Cash
Management and Online Account products and services offered by the
bank: including merchant remote deposit, online ACH and Wire
origination services. The support officer works closely with the
business development and commercial relationship managers to ensure
commercial products and services are understood and properly
offered to potential users to expand their relationship with the
bank. Recommends pricing of services based on the customer's
relationship with the bank and services used. Continuously assesses
customer needs and recommends effective, compliant strategies for
electronic delivery of banking services, providing a superior level
of customer service.Responsibilities:Develops and maintains a
comprehensive knowledge of all cash management products and
services in order to effectively educate employees and customers of
the tools available to them. Ensures compliance with all legal and
regulatory requirements following established policies and
procedures related to commercial e-banking and remote deposit
services.Provides leadership and is accountable to ensure customers
and staff understand all benefits and features available with the
bank's treasury cash management services. Ensures appropriate
training of business development employees and clients on
commercial service products and services. Attends joint customer
calls with business development representatives as needed.Develops
and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the bank's online
account process and complete the daily review of all online
accounts.Provides customer service for cash management and remote
deposit clients, trouble-shooting and resolving problems.Works
closely with the bank's core processer to understand system
capabilities and to address ongoing issues and problems as needed
by contacting the appropriate support area, following up on
outstanding issues, bringing unresolved issues to the attention of
management, while maintaining responsibility for seeing issues
through to resolution.Provides support and assistance to the
underwriting of prospective clients consulting and coordinating
efforts with the business development staff and credit departments
to onboard new customers to cash management products, consulting on
fees, and setting up new customers on the appropriate system and
with ongoing reviews.Provides support and leadership to the
management team in establishing parameters and risk procedures to
be used with cash management services and responsible to ensure
those processes are carried out within the bank's policies and
regulatory requirements.Coordinates delivery of all e-banking
services by completing customer service installation and training
company staff as needed. Includes delivering and installing
scanning equipment, security tokens and other products as needed.
Evaluates customer's compliance with bank requirements for using
check scanning services to include check endorsements, proper
storage and destruction of scanned check.Monitors and processes
customer online activities looking for anomalies and performing out
of band callback verification on high-risk transactions. Maintains
accurate records of customer contact for auditors and problem
resolution as needed.Assists Credit Administration with initial and
ongoing customer reviews to ensure documentation is requested and
received from clients or bank sales staff. Maintains accurate
customer lists and associated transaction limits.Administers and
compiles all management reports on a periodic basis relating to the
number of customers, services used, ACH and Wire statistics
relation to cash management and remote deposit services.Maintains
inventory of merchant scanners, security tokens, scanner cleaning
products and ink cartridges for installation and replacement as
needed. Purchases hardware from appropriate vendors to ensure
adequate inventory is on hand for customer onboarding.Supports
Deposit Operations Officer with implementation of new products and
services, including testing, risk assessment and rollout. Assisting
customers and bank staff with understanding and using them.Oversees
client annual review processes for all applicable cash management
and remote deposit relationships by mailing request for
self-assessment completion, follow-up to ensure receipt for each
client, reviewing returned assessments and scanning them to the
customer's folder on the image system.Maintain records of all cash
management and remote deposit records including applications,
agreements and set-up documents including associated agreements for
ACH and Wire origination, self-assessments and requests for change
in user access.Processes and maintains records of customer fee
assessments and evaluates all monthly customer transaction
activities, performing collection of monthly fees through ACH
collection entries or adjustment to customers account
analysis.Serves as primary Audit contact regarding cash management
and remote deposit services providing documentation as requested
and answering operational procedure questions.Assumes additional
projects, assignments and other responsibilities as
requested.Requirements:Associate's Degree in Business Management,
Accounting, or a related field preferred.Minimum five years of
progressively responsible Bank Deposit Operations and/or Retail
Banking experience including strong working knowledge of business
deposit products, cash management services, merchant remote deposit
services, ACH and wire services, data processing and other related
services.Experience working with business customers and individuals
to understand their needs and provide the sales, service, and
support needed to expand and retain their relationship with
Bluestone. Successful and demonstrated history of being able to
offer and "sell" services that meet customer needs.Demonstrated
strong customer service skills and the ability to expand customer
relationships with Bluestone.Demonstrated ability to work
independently.Demonstrated ability to solve problems
effectively.Proven effective oral and written skills. Excellent
verbal communication, technical writing skills, and presentation
skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey
information to people who possess varying levels of understanding
on applicable topics.Proficient word processing and spreadsheet
skills that include Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and
Outlook), online meeting and remote access software, and the
