The Bostonian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a -Full Time Director of Admissions & Marketing! - The Bostonian is in a neighorhood setting conveniently located in metro Boston MA, accessible by public transportation. The Bostonian is a preferred, non-profit, post acute provider for major acute care hospitals in the Boston area. We provide short term rehabilitation, long term care and respite care.     Requirements for Director of Admissions:
    
    • 
      
    • High school diploma or equivalent
      
      • 
        
      • Licensure as RN, LPN, SW, and/or college degree in healthcare related field, preferred.
        
        
        
      • Excellent organization, communication, customer service, and computer skills are required
        
      • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), preferred
        
        Job Duties for Director of Admissions:
        
        • 
          
        • Collaborate with Director of Nursing Services, Executive Director and Director of Social Services on admissions, transfers and bed management
          
        • Develop a network of referral relationships with hospitals, ALF, and community organizations through outreach and promotional activities - - - -
          
        • Complete admission packets with the resident/patient or responsible party
          
        • Determine payer source and any resident/patient payment responsibility
          
        • Provide informational tours for visitors
          
        • Manage the referral and admission process in accordance with the written policies of the Company and state rules and regulations
          
        • Coordinate services for admissions with medical records, nursing, recreation, housekeeping and maintenance
          
        • Lead Customer Satisfaction efforts in facility.
