Seeking an experience
Diabetes Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our
Endocrinologists, located just South of Boston, 45 minutes from
Providence. The NP or PA will provide patient
health assessment, treatment planning, maintenance, teaching and
counseling in
a collaborative role with the Supervising physician. Under the
clinical
direction of the physician and the general direction of the
Clinical Director,
provides health and medical care to individuals, families, and
groups. You will work independently within established protocols
and
policies exercising initiative and judgment in direct patient care,
document
and review patient medical history, perform patient examination and
assess
current status/condition. Determine proper diagnosis, plan
treatment and
education programs including prescribing medication within licensed
parameters.
Seeks consultation and initiate referrals as necessary.
Qualifications:
Must be Board Certified -
Massachusetts License -
MCSR and Federal DEA -
Minimum 2 years' experience working with
diabetes
