Our
practice is located just south of Boston and 45 minutes from Providence RI. As
our Revenue Cycle Analyst you are responsible for the accuracy and
effectiveness of the revenue capture process.
Your primary function is to maintain the hospital's charge master while
assuring compliance with payer regulations.
You will be responsible to conduct annual charge reviews with revenue
producing departments. Will be
identified as hospital resource to provide billing and coding compliance and
charge structure. Participate in meetings and/or committees as assigned
including Denials Management. Also
serves as institutional reference for billing/reimbursement issues (researching
payer websites). Optimizing revenue
capture is a key responsibility of position.
Identifying problem charge capture trends, policy development and implementation
of corrective action plans to improve revenue flow

Required 3 -
5 years previous experience in Healthcare specifically in Patient Accounts,
Managed Care, Reimbursement or Third Party Payer work. -
Must have
Extensive knowledge of CPT-4, HCPCS, revenue codes and ICD-10 coding. -
Must have
detailed knowledge of Payer regulatory requirements; Medicare, Medicaid,
Managed Care and commercial payers. -
Must be
knowledgeable in reimbursement methodologies and payer billing
requirements. -
Must have
thorough understanding of hospital billing system and payer systems. -
Microsoft
Office software skills. -
Able to deal
with other departmental managers to resolve problems and ensure proper billing
and accuracy of financial information. -
Must be able
to lead projects. -
Adequate
knowledge to reference all data sources for payers. -
Excellent
inter-personal skills as well as excellent oral and written communication
skills to effectively provide support and financial analysis to all levels of
organization. -
Understand
corporate compliance and maintain the highest level of professional integrity. -
Meditech
experience preferred.Education: High
school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health Administration preferred
