Job Description:
Travel Ultrasound Tech is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a
facility in Massachusetts. Minimum 2 years of Vascular Tech
experience is required. MUST have one of the following
certifications RVT, RVS, ARDMS, ASN or RPHS. (please provide a copy
of candidate's certification with submission). BLS (AHA) is
required. 8 hour day shifts 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm. 40 hour
guarantee. Patient Population: Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric.
EMR: Meditech, Allscripts, ECW. Will be under the general
supervision of the Technical Director of the Vascular Laboratory.
Accurately conducts a variety of studies for the evaluation of
vascular disorders utilizing duplex ultrasound and physiological
testing. Accurately maintains permanent images that are organized
and collected as relevant information to be used for final
interpretation. Demonstrates an understanding of purposes and
functional capacity of the equipment. Demonstrates a good
understanding of pathophysiology, hemodynamics, and imaging of
vascular structures from all types of vascular beds being examined.
