Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a
travel nursing job in Windsor, Vermont. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty:Med Surg - Discipline:RN - Start
Date:07/07/2025 - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12
hours, nights - Employment Type:Travel An RN in an acute
rehabilitation setting with medical-surgical experience, often
called an "acute rehab med surg RN," provides specialized care to
patients recovering from illnesses or injuries, with a focus on
regaining independence and functional abilities. This role involves
a combination of acute care skills and rehabilitation-specific
expertise - May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse -
Coordinates total nursing care for patients - Participates in
patient and family teaching - Provides leadership by working
cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team
personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing
practice in the clinical setting EMR: Cerner Nurse to patient
ratio: 1 to 4/5 Average daily patient census: 22 Requested time off
during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at
upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED NO MORE THAN
5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Local Travelers -
Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible
for this need. This is a small community without public transport.
Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm
requirement. 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience - Required
Perm address required May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg
CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Previous Travel (at least 3 months) -
Required BSN preferred This is a small community without public
transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is
