One of the largest medical groups south of Boston is seeking a Pathologist for its network of over 150 primary and specialty care providers. They serve a culturally and socio-economically diverse patient population. About the Opportunity: A well-respected medical group has over 2500 employees in multiple locations in southeast Massachusetts Affiliate of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center A community-based, non-profit 216-bed teaching hospital Physicianshall provide anatomical and clinical pathology services, including but not limited to surgical pathology including frozen sections, immediate evaluations in radiology and endoscopy, grossing of large specimens in addition to signing out the specimens grossedandsmall specimens grossed by the pathology assistants, peripheral blood smear review, semen morphology analysis, transfusion reactions and crossmatch reviews, examinations of joint fluids for crystals, and administrative services in the Pathology Department. Duties will include the provision of ?on-call? services, the performance of cancer conference, including taking photographs, on a rotational basis with other members of the Department Employed position with high earnings potential $20k signing bonus and $10k relocation assistance One week CME and $3000 CME funds Community/Location: Situated 20 miles south of Boston, with a city population of 100,000 people Less than one hour to scenic Cape Cod with top-rated beaches, parks, and trails 40 miles from Providence A culturally diverse community with ethnic restaurants, shopping, festivals, and cultural events JV-44
