in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology
(ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare
facility in Brockton, MA is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician
to join their team on a contract basis. This role is crucial in
supporting cardiac catheterization procedures by operating imaging
equipment and assisting cardiologists in delivering exceptional
patient care within the catheterization lab. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment during cardiac
catheterization and related diagnostic procedures. Assist
physicians with catheter placement and monitoring throughout
interventions. Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the cath
lab by adhering to infection control protocols. Monitor patient
vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during procedures.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless
patient care. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a
Cath Lab Technician with strong imaging skills. Proficiency in
operating catheterization lab technology and equipment. Knowledge
of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and catheterization procedures.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced clinical
setting. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Certification as a Cath Lab Tech (e.g., RCIS) is preferred.
