Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures crucial to the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will operate radiographic equipment, position patients properly, and capture high-quality images for review by radiologists and healthcare providers. Location: Brockton, MA Schedule/Hours: Monday & Wednesday, 7:30 AM 8:00 PM Day Shift Responsibilities: Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other radiographic exams as ordered Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures Explain procedures to patients, addressing questions and concerns to reduce anxiety Operate and adjust imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff Monitor radiation dosage and equipment performance Maintain accurate patient records and utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems Troubleshoot technical issues to produce accurate diagnostic images Qualifications: Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology required State Radiologic Technologist license required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred 1-2 years of experience in radiology technology Knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and patient positioning Strong understanding of radiation safety principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with ability to follow protocols accurately Physical Requirements: Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting Ability to lift 35 lbs or more frequently This contract role offers a valuable opportunity to apply your skills in a respected healthcare environment with a part-time schedule.
