Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Windsor, VT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,366 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/17/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years recent Med Surg Rehab experience; Charge RN experience; Previous travel (at least 3 months) License: Vermont RN License or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS; Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Ability to float to any unit within scope of practice; Must have own vehicle; Permanent address must be included in profile; All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission Description: This position involves coordinating total nursing care for patients. The role may include backup Charge Nurse responsibilities. Participation in patient and family teaching is expected. Providing leadership by working cooperatively with nursing and other patient team personnel is essential. Maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting is required. The nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4/5. The average daily patient census is 22. Requests for time off during this assignment must be noted and verified at the time of submission. No more than 5 days of requests for time off will be accepted. The candidate must be willing to float to any unit within their scope of practice. Requests for block scheduling will not be considered. Local travelers are not eligible for this position. This is a small community without public transport. The traveler candidate must have their own vehicle as this is a firm requirement. The candidate must provide pertinent documentation including skills checklists related to Medical Surgical and Supervisory practices, current to 1 year. The contract may be terminated after 3 call offs due to lack of attendance, as determined by hospital discretion. Every other weekend and holidays may be required if needed.
