Job Description:
PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital
rehabilitation services, is seeking a passionate and dedicated
Speech Therapist - Clinical Fellow to join our dynamic team. This
role focuses on providing specialized speech therapy to patients
recovering from surgery, injuries, or illnesses, with the goal of
helping them regain their communication skills and overall
independence. As part of our commitment to personalized care, you
will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient
needs and develop targeted therapy plans. Assess patient speech,
language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities. Plan
and implement tailored therapy interventions in accordance with
patient needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan
and evaluate treatment. Document patient progress and adjust
treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and families about
communication techniques and strategies. Expertise in
speech-language pathology practices. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team.
Proficient in using medical software for patient documentation.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certificate of
Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
preferred or in the process of obtaining.
