Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. • 24 months of acute care experience. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission). • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >30 miles from facility to be submitted. • No current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Boston Medical Center (BMC). Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Meditech IVs, telemetry, able to adapt quickly to different units. Cardiac medical surgical. These staff will be floated between our cardiac units and our med surg units. Recent cardiac experience expected. Preferred Skills/Experience: 3-5 years previous med/surg tele. Required Credentials: BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting (within 48 hours of offer). 2 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation. Special Requests: No extended RTO, no specific schedule requests. Shift & Scheduling: E/o Weekend, E/O Holiday. Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
