Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, we are looking for a Compensation & Benefit Manager to work in our Middleboro, MA location. The Compensation & Benefit Manager is the owner, champion and implementer of our compensation philosophy. This role has impact across the organization for compensation design, competitive benefits, benchmarking and pay equity analysis. This role also oversees HRIS and Payroll.   • Proficient in building a compensation strategy and structure, and cultivating a culture of transparency on compensation.
  • Analyzes, administers and recommends improvements as needed to employer compensation programs including base pay, long and short-term incentives, spot bonuses, incentives and LTIP that align with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Designs, communicates and maintains pay structures, grades and compensation budgets and guidelines.
  • Conducts internal pay equity review to ensure our pay guidelines are followed fairly across the board.
  • Administers various programs such as bonus and merit programs, competitive base pay, incentive plans, bonuses, merit cycles, etc.
  • Partner with managers and members of HR to support, advise and develop solutions for compensation issues i.e., new hire offers, promotions, internal transfers, retention, etc.
  • Participates in compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.
  • Advises VP of HR on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines.
  • Evaluates jobs and develops and maintains job descriptions and job architecture.
  • Works with parent company on the development of benefits programs and attends regularly scheduled benefit meetings.
  • Leads the implementation and communication of company benefit plans.
  • Communicates Open Enrollment benefit changes to Benefits Administrator for system updates.
  • Ensures all programs, policies, and procedures are complied with internally and follow current legislation.
  • Leads annual performance management and annual salary review process.
  • Recommends improvements for increased efficiency as needed to policies, procedures and systems (ADP, HRIS, and etc.)
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Organize and coordinate corporate events (team building, office parties, training, etc.).
  • Assist the HR team with the administration of HR processes (Recruitment, Benefits, Onboarding, Off-boarding Health and Safety). We're excited if you have:
    • A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management or any other related field; CCP or PHR certification a plus.
    • Five (5) years of professional experience in Human Resources, Compensation or other HR analytical role, experience managing people.
    • Experience in leading, building, and executing compensation programs, benefits, HRIS, and total reward programs.
    • Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills to gather and interpret data.
    • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to effectively analyze data and develop or automate repeatable reports, metrics, and models.
    • Ability to interact with all levels of employees with a positive roll-up sleeves attitude.
    • Creative problem-solver who thinks in terms of "how can we" rather than "why we can't".
    • Interpersonal and collaborative skills to work well with members of the management team.
    • Problem-solving skills to find solutions to challenges.
