CUSTOMER CARE/TRAFFIC COORDINATOR - SIGN ON BONUSDepartment: Customer Care/TrafficJob Type: ClericalLocation:Total Positions: 1Travel: Not RequiredHourly Rate: $15 - $19JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are currently looking for a Customer Care/Traffic Coordinator for our Corporate office in Norton, MA.If you are an energetic, self-motivated, individual, you have a great opportunity to join a successful and growing company!We offer an exciting, supportive, friendly work environment, flexible hours and competitive wages!Hours: Variable schedule including Saturday's40 hours per week (full time)Description: Handling all aspects of customer service regarding customers furnitureSKILLS REQUIREDCUSTOMER CARE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle all incoming customer calls regarding concerns in a professional, positive and proactive manner
  • Handle all driver and service tech issues that may arise
  • Schedules service appointments, even exchanges, and deliveries with customers
  • Confirms deliveries and service appointments
  • Refers customer files to outside contract Techs, as needed, to comply with customer's requests
  • Creates purchase orders to order parts to repair furniture
  • Work directly, as a team, with an assigned Road Tech on a consistent basis, as needed
  • Follow up after customers' service appointment to ensure satisfaction
  • Determine if a customer needs a repair, replacement, or authorize a return
  • Professionally interacts with all personnel, guests and customersTRAFFIC COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Contacts customers scheduled for deliveries
    • Handles incoming calls from customers with regards to deliveries (e.g. time frames, cancellations)
    • Handles incoming calls from deliveries with regards to:
    • Untruckloading orders where all merchandise is coming back
    • Splitting off merchandise that is not being accepted by the customer
    • Calling customers phone numbers to locate not-at-home customers
    • Calling local fire departments to locate customer homes
    • Delivery problems, such as hoists and walk-ups
    • Handles incoming calls from stores with regards to all aspects of delivery
    • Handles routing of add on stops
    • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
    • Operates all company equipment in a safe and proper manner
    • Maintains a neat and safe work area, free from any potential hazards
    • Creates atmosphere allowing for open and effective communication
    • Other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:
      • Good oral and written communication skills
      • High School Diploma
      • Previous experience working in a call center
      • Working furniture product knowledge not required, but a plus
      • Knowledge of GERS computer system and its programs not required but is a plus
      • A strong work ethic and dependability a mustSIGN ON BONUS - All newly hired employees will be eligible for a $500 sign on bonus after completing a 90-day probationary period.
