A bi- or tri-lingual individual to assist our MA licensed Opticians
in their daily activities. These would include assisting with:
language interpreting; incoming eyeglass orders management; patient
eyeglass notification; eyeglass frame selection; insurance prior
authorization; voicemail management, and insurance coverage
1. Assist in language interpreting where needed
2. Check in and verify incoming eyeglass orders (after training)
from multiple labs
3. Notify patients that their glasses are ready for
4. Assist in the selection of eyeglass frames (after training)
5. Explain to patients their insurance coverage and financial
responsibilities if any.
6. Assist in taking a formal inventory at least twice per year.
7. Enter data in to NextGen/ Optik data base system.
8. Follow all Brockton Neighborhood Health Center protocols and
9. Provide a friendly and professional environment within Optical
for all the health center patients.
10. Minor frame adjustment & repair (after training).
Personable, high school or beyond educated bi- or tri-lingual
person comfortable interacting with patients and working with
numerical figures and basic finances in a team work

Familiarity with MA insurance billing is helpful.
