Bluestone BankDescription: Under the direction of the
Information Technology Officer, administers networks (LAN / WAN),
systems, software applications, network communications devices,
workstations, printers, and data security systems to ensure
efficient operations and provide users with a high level of service
while adhering to established information technology policies,
standards, and procedures. Assumes responsibilities as directed for
workstation/server/network device builds, new computer system
installations, and installation of pre-defined hardware, cabling,
and software configurations. Responsible for design and
administration of critical Windows network security configurations,
upgrades, and patch management. Implements and administers data
protection, data backup, and data restoration strategies, inclusive
of associated disaster recovery testing and documentation. Cisco
experience is strongly preferred.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the following critical system security
protection systems and functions: Windows Systems Update
administration, Windows and (non-windows) patch administration,
Windows Server Update installations, Remote Laptop Lockdown
configuration and administration, Assistance with IDS
implementations and problem resolution, Administration and support
for Sophos AV systems
- Responsible for the following critical Network configuration,
build and administration duties: Administration and installation of
switches and other network devices, Active Directory - Domain
Controller Builds and administration, Active Directory - User
Object creation, Active Directory - Group Policy Object
administration, VPN administration and problem resolution,
Environmental System device management and monitoring
- Installs, administers, and troubleshoots the following email
server and software systems relating to email, messaging, and
remote communications devices: Exchange O365 Administration,
upgrade, and problem resolution, LAN troubleshooting
- Assumes responsibilities associated with certain server
configuration builds, server management, and server administration
as follows: Switch, router administration, Cisco any connect,
Server upgrade implementations, Installation of Windows server
updates, VMWare (server virtualization) configuration and
implementation, Server hardware troubleshooting
- Responsible for the following critical functions associated
with the bank's IT Disaster Recovery program, data replication,
data restoration, and associated testing of those functions:
Workstation Image building and deployment, Implementation of Backup
and Recovery Solutions, including agent installations,
troubleshooting, and file / full system restoration, Disaster
Recovery Testing and documentation of such testing for audit review
purposes, Bare Metal Disaster Recovery restorations as needed,
Administration and Support for Enterprise Vault Email
archiving
- Assumes key functions relating to Application Support as
follows: Switch and router configuration and administration, SQL
Server administration and problem resolution, V-Lan support and
administration, Administration and Support for Vision Content Suite
(IS View and, Reports), Support for Vision Content Suite scanning
equipment and associated software, Administration and Support for
check print servers and branch check capture systems, Software
support and problem resolution for Fedline Advantage
- Under the supervision of the Information Technology Officer,
assumes responsibility in a back-up capacity for a number of
functions, including updates to technology upgrade and asset
management tracking systems, vulnerability report gap and audit
finding remediation efforts, outsourced, and helpdesk tickets.

systems, and circuit problem resolution, Blackberry MDM and
Exchange 365 email problem resolution, server hardening, all areas
of workstation support, and all areas of in-house application
support.
- The Network Systems Administrator will be available for
Saturday on-call support rotation. There will also be times when
the Network Systems Administrator will be available to work on
special projects, etc., beyond the regularly scheduled work week,
which can include early morning, evening, and weekend hours.
- Other duties as assigned.Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent training and
certification. Certificate in network administration or a
comparable field of study is preferred, and three to five years of
related experience is required.
- Experience with previous banking knowledge is preferred, as
well as familiarity with network communications devices, PC
hardware, software applications, network / workstation systems, and
e-mail applications. Experience with network and application
security systems and associated device encryption, remote access,
VPN Experience with diagnostic and repair techniques for systems,
software, and hardware, and network devices. Experience with
network architecture and Windows operating systems.
- Specialized training and experience relating to Cisco, VM Ware
ESXi administration, server virtualization technologies, Active
Directory GPO administration, Azure 365 email, and domain
controller administration.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills required. A
positive attitude and a willingness to assist end users in a timely
manner, and familiarity with General Office User applications are
required. A general understanding of IT security principles and
