Support large-scale Window Treatment hospitality projects by
deciphering and translating designer and purchasing agent
specifications to strategize with the internal teams on optimizing
all facets of the upcoming project. Be an ambassador of the Valley
Forge Fabrics Window Products, meeting the expectations for the
assigned projects and supporting the Sr. Project Strategist
- Support the process of receiving customer purchase orders,
fully digesting designer specifications and scope of work as well
as using project floor plans to create or facilitate creating
custom measure sheets via excel worksheets.
- Scheduling internal or external "services support (installers)
to measure the desired hotel within designated areas reflective of
the purchase order and customer.
- Give further details to the installer to obtain clear and
precise measurements as well as photos of all pertinent areas
ensuring that all the needed information is collected before the
installer leaving the property
- Working on time-sensitive measure worksheets to write up
pre-production directions for the production department via excel.
Collaborate with the Sr. Project Strategist to ensure the right
communication in the project with the third parties.
- Communication with partnered supply groups (i.e., roller
shades, decorative hardware, automation suppliers) to convey exact
project products and components needed.
- Support the validation of customer purchase orders/ revisions
to insure final direction has been conveyed correctly
- Field measure and client meetings will be necessary from time
to time and will be done out of the office and on
- Communicating/ consulting may be required with installation
teams during the project to troubleshoot if necessary
- 5-6 years plus experience in the window treatment industry from
the design or install aspect
- Expert knowledge in draperies, roller shades, roman shades, and
- Ability to read blueprints, provide take-offs from design
direction, and to convey into production work orders.
- Familiar with hospitality suppliers for manual and motorized
hardware and the different functionalities required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and translate with clients and internal
project management teams.
- Ability to identify alternative design solutions/ value
engineer and convey clearly to clients.
- The Product Strategist needs to have the ability to educate
surrounding internal team members and work closely with related

allow the specified window treatment to be installed successfully
(i.e., ADA conditions, fire alarms, sprinkler heads)
- Approx. Percentage of travel could be up to 25% at times.
