Job Description:

We have a opening in South Boston as a Production Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in optimizing production processes and ensuring the seamless flow of operations. hours are 8a to 5pYour responsibilities will include:Create and Maintain Production Schedules: Analyze production requirements, resource availability, and customer deadlines to develop comprehensive production schedules.Utilize ERP System: Update and inform management of production consumption/variances using the ERP system.Root Cause Analysis: Investigate variables and issues across the production process, conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.Data Management: Perform daily processing of employee lifecycle changes and other data entry into HR systems to ensure accurate and relevant data for reporting and analytics.Resource Optimization: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.Monitor and Adjust Schedules: Continuously monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address unexpected events or changes in demand.Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate production schedules and status updates to the Production Manager, Production Planner, other departments, and customers.Conflict Resolution: Identify and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts by collaborating with relevant teams.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production schedules, resource utilization, and project progress.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes.Skills, Experience & Qualifications:Experience: 2+ years in production scheduling and operations management.Education: High school degree or equivalent.Work Style: Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to work without close supervision in a team.Technical Skills: Proficient in scheduling software and data analysis tools. Knowledge of ADP system is essential.Language: Bilingual - English/Portuguese, Creole, and/or Spanish preferred.Basic Skills: Reading, writing, and basic math skills required.Software Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office.Personal Attributes: Hardworking, dependable, safety and quality conscious.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Leadership: Leadership skills and the ability to direct line staff.Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail.
