colleagues and customers. Job Summary: Raytheon is hiring for a 2nd
shift Production Supervisor in the Andover, MA facility. The
candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when
required) in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. The ideal
candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience
necessary to perform in both manufacturing and technical leadership
roles. Also, the candidate will be able to provide valuable floor
insight to a cross-functional team. Daily interaction with other
cross-business teams is needed to maintain and meet organizational
goals and objectives. These groups include technical support,
manufacturing/test/design engineering, maintenance, production
control and finance as well as multiple Integrated Product Teams.
Achieving/exceeding safety, quality, delivery, cost goals and
identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
using Core and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria
for this position. Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Driving goals and accountability throughout cell.
- Workforce planning and forecasting
- Employee hiring and training and unit hour performance.
- Adherence to cost
- Ensuring the full compliance of company policies and
procedures
- Knowledge of and operating within the contractual requirements
set forth in a bargaining unit environment.
- Area layout and flow management
- CORE Operating Systems drives all aspects of our business.Basic
Qualifications:
- Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience
and 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced
degree.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a government US security
clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are
eligible for a security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
- Shop Floor Management or Supervisory experience.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience executing assembly and/or test operations and
manufacturing line balancing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing practices/instructions and quality
practices/ instructions.
- Labor management including attendance, employee relations &
behavior, administrative responsibilities, and employee
performance.
- Knowledge of existing Raytheon execution systems (PRISM, SAP)
and Lean Manufacturing Applications
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft 365 (Office) Edge, Excel,
PowerPoint, Teams, Word
- Ability to develop solutions to problems of medium scope and

role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
