Job Description:
Pure Hockey, the largest dedicated hockey gear retailer in the
USA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join
our team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Store Manager
in all facets of store operations, ensuring excellence in customer
service and driving our mission to provide the best hockey gear and
accessories to enthusiasts and professionals alike. This is a
fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about retail
management and the sport of hockey. Assist the Store Manager in
planning and implementing strategies to attract customers
Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g., sales
processes, orders, and payments) Supervise and motivate staff to
achieve sales targets Monitor and maintain store inventory Handle
customer complaints and issues to maintain the store’s reputation
Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational
guidelines Deal with problems by providing creative and practical
solutions Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
Propose innovative ideas to increase market share Proven experience
as a retail assistant manager or similar position Strong leadership
and customer management abilities Customer service-oriented with
in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with financial
and customer service principles Good math skills with the ability
to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics
Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular) Medical
